I Mentor Men and Women — But I Always
Honor Covenant
Let me be crystal clear:
Yes, I mentor both men and women. I have for decades — people of all backgrounds, all ethnicities, all ages, all walks of life. I’ve mentored individuals with cognitive delays and physical disabilities, and I’ve mentored those with advanced degrees and doctorates in Biblical theology. None of that determines someone’s worthiness to grow — and none of that disqualifies someone from a breakthrough. If God says it’s time, then I move.
But I do have one unwavering rule when it comes to mentoring men:
If a man is married, engaged, or in a relationship, I will not begin mentoring him until I’ve spoken directly with his significant other and received her full awareness and consent.
That’s not negotiable.
I hold covenant in the highest regard. I will not — even inadvertently — step between what God has joined together. I have no interest in playing games, skirting boundaries, or unknowingly walking into drama that could have been prevented by simply having an honest conversation from the beginning.
I don’t care how strong someone’s calling is or how sincere they seem — if there’s a woman in his life, she will be brought into the light with respect, clarity, and intention before we ever begin. Period.
Why? Because I know what it’s like to be blindsided.
Because not everyone tells the whole truth.
Because we all have histories and hang-ups, and while I trust the Lord fully, I don’t pretend for one second that I know someone’s full story just because they booked a call.
Trust is earned.
And in this house? Integrity leads.
Now, I also know that sometimes a breakthrough comes from an unexpected voice — someone who simply sees it differently. And if the Lord deems that I’m that voice, I will show up with fire and faith. But even then, I’ll do so only with prayerful discernment, clear boundaries, and honor for every relationship involved.
Because the goal isn’t just improvement — it’s alignment.
It’s Kingdom-forward healing.
And that can’t happen in secret shadows or unspoken suspicions.
So yes — I mentor men.
But I also honor women.
And I refuse to let healing for one become heartbreak for another.
If God is calling us to work together, then He’ll make room —
but He’ll never do it at the expense of someone else's peace.
Let the record show: I’m here for growth, for truth, and for God’s order.
And I wouldn’t want it any other way. You shouldn't want it any other way either.
